Introducing ART Group: building a new technology hub through integration, specialization, and innovation

Passignano sul Trasimeno, 18.06.2026 – Following a significant period of growth and a series of strategic acquisitions, ART Spa officially announces the creation of a new Group structure, marking a fundamental step in its industrial and organizational evolution.

ART S.p.A., MAE Elettronica S.r.l., MATE S.r.l., ART Germany GmbH, and Connecta Automotive Solution Sagl – which have developed over time with distinctive expertise and specific market positions – are now being integrated into a coordinated and synergistic ecosystem. The new structure enhances the complementarity of the individual entities and their respective identities, strengthening the level of specialization through well-defined strategic focuses.

This model allows us to respond even more effectively to customer needs, thanks to targeted and highly qualified expertise.

The new parent company will lead this evolution, with the task of:

• coordinating joint strategies
• providing cross-functional and vertical services to support various organizations
• centralizing the innovation department, the driving force behind research and development for all of the Group’s brands

The Group’s entities, which include companies and operating divisions, led by Francesco Ortix, CEO of the new structure, have been reorganized as follows:

• ART S.p.A., a leader in connected infotainment systems and digital cockpit platforms, led by CEO Thomas Richter, positions itself as a strategic tech hub for the development of advanced mobility solutions, specifically targeting the automotive, transportation, and agritech sectors.

In this context, ART is a leader in the design of end-to-end in-vehicle experiences, synergistically integrating HMI design, advanced connectivity, and next-generation multimedia solutions, with the goal of creating increasingly advanced and user-centric digital ecosystems. To support this positioning, the company maintains full oversight of ART Safety Compliance Security led by Francesco De Rosa, ensuring customers are fully covered even in the most critical and sensitive areas of technology.

At the same time, through its subsidiary Connecta Automotive Solution, ART leads the development of innovative software solutions based on virtual reality to support HMI design, validation, and ergonomic and safety testing.

This enables the optimization of development processes, reduces time-to-market, and lowers engineering costs, further strengthening the competitiveness of the offering.

• ART Aerospace & Defense – a new division of the Group focused on providing mission-critical solutions for applications where reliability is an essential requirement – will be led by Francesco Ortix himself. The division will focus on telemetry systems for launch vehicles, advanced electronic solutions, custom HMI interfaces, and computer vision technologies for defense platforms, supporting real-time data management, operational control, and high-performance deployment in the field.

• MAE Elettronica S.r.l. – specializing in the design and supply of dashboard systems primarily used in the motorcycle industry, and with extensive experience in the two-wheeled sector – will continue its growth under the leadership of the Gravalini family.

• MATE S.r.l. – an independent laboratory accredited under ISO 17025 and specializing in durability, environmental, vibration, and life-cycle testing, led by Stefano Marchetti – will remain the Group’s go-to resource for certification, training, and testing services.
