ART and BOEVx present Daisy-chain technology at CES 2026: a new paradigm for multi-stream display management

ART and BOEVx present Daisy-chain technology at CES 2026: a new paradigm for multi-stream display management

ART, an innovative company specializing in infotainment and advanced connectivity solutions, announces a new co-development with BOEVx, a global leader in high-performance automotive  displays. The partnership aims to bring technological solutions to the market which are easy to integrate, scalable, and user-experience-oriented, and which clearly fit the emerging needs of automotive and embedded display systems.

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2026 (Las Vegas, 6–9 January), ART will be at the BOEVx stand (West Hall) to officially present its new Daisy-chain technology, a solution designed to optimize video signal management and display system scalability, while at the same time simplifying integration and improving the overall efficiency of installations.

Daisy chaining allows the connection of multiple displays in series via a single video link, eliminating traditional point-to-point connections and offering practical advantages:

  • Significant reduction in connections towards the source, with fewer cables and connectors;
  • Simplified installation, particularly in automotive and vehicle contexts;
  • System scalability, with the ability to add or remove displays without redesigning the architecture.

All of this while supporting two integration modes: MST (Multi-Stream Transport) and SST (Single-Stream Transport).

In addition to connectivity and infotainment applications, Daisy-chain technology is a key enabler for a new generation of multi-display user experiences. Unified video stream management allows the cockpit to be conceived as a single digital surface, promoting visual continuity, more intuitive interactions, and greater design freedom for HMI designers and UX engineers.

Within this architecture, ART uses BOEVx advanced TFT (Thin Film Transistor) panels, which guarantee superior image quality, advanced backlight control, and Halo-Free.

This technology uses a particular type of local dimming, known as ” Pixel-Level Local Dimming”, which allows for much finer brightness adjustment than more traditional varieties.

The contribution of displays thus becomes an enabler of the user experience, integrating perfectly into the multi-display ecosystem.

During CES 2026, the Daisy-chain technology will be showcased at BOEVx’s exhibition booth, offering partners and stakeholders the opportunity to experience firsthand a solution designed to simplify next-generation display systems and enhance user interaction.
